Lou Pietosi has been playing music since he was old enough to hold drumsticks or blow a horn!  Now 51 years old,  Lou’s first love was music as he first watched Mitch Miller and Andy Williams back in the early to mid 60’s.  At age 10 he began playing trumpet in school, later teaching himself a little keyboards, guitar and his main instrument,  drums.   He has always loved singing and writing music as well. His influences over the years have included artists such as Chicago, CSN, Kansas, Dan Fogelberg, Loggins and Messina, Bon Jovi, styx and many more.

In 1977 he began playing with friends Billy and Nick Nardozi  in The Nardozi Brothers Oldies Band and in 1986, along with his brother Al and another set of brothers, Mark and Jake Zucco, formed SILENT PARTNER, the Classic Rock band which continues playing today in and around the Pittsburgh area.  In 1988 they added bass player Randy Van Hulten and these five guys have remained together ever since, with a period of time off as they each lived their lives and started families.  Reuniting in 2008, they now are recording both old and new originals and hope to complete a CD by mid 2012.  They JUST did a special benefit concert in their old hometown of Dormont Pennsylvania to raise money for the small local movie theater, which Lou hopes to turn into a theater for the performing arts.  Over 5,000.00 was raised at the event.  Married with two grown sons, Lou is also a Mortgage Banker by trade.
